A Samuel Brown, age 22, living alone was in Pope Co in 1880. He was on the same census page with mother Mary and married sister Amanda. Stated his father born in KY, mother born in SC - it was the other way around, but I still believe this is probably the right Samuel Brown.

I believe he is the Samuel R. Brown, born 25 Oct 1856, died 24 Jul 1941 and is buried in Walnut Gov Cemetery, Hector, Pope Co, AR. He was twice married -to Cynthia Eakin and to Nancy Ellen McAfee, 29 May 1881, Pope Co, AR
