I took a look at your web site. I enjoyed it very much. Very nicely done! I am from the Samuel Brown line through Joseph Brown and William Brown, who married Elda Hale. You have William Brown's middle initial down as a "T." It was in fact the initial "S." It is often mistaken for several other letters including "L" and "F." It was in fact, beyond a shadow of a doubt, according to many documents I have the letter "S." I hope you correct this error. He was born 1831 as you stated, and died the Spring of 1865 in Bowie County, Texas from a fever.

Married Elda Ann Hale, 1 Dec 1850, Pope Co, AR. They both gave their age as 20.

A family tree claims William died in Texas about 1865, but since Elda and children were still in Arkansas in 1870, I doubt the claim that he was in Texas, although it is possible.
