Alice Alberson, died 28 Jan 1955, Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto, TX. She died at Nazareth Hospital - her residence was 801 SW 24th St. Alice was born 22 Jul 1878 in Collins Co. TX. She was a widow. Her father was W. W. Montgomery, her mother Elizabeth Higginbotham - both born in Louisiana. She died of pneumonia, but also had adenocarcinoma. The informant was J. E. Luten. She was buried Indian Creek Cemetery in Mineral Wells, 30 Jan 1955.

MINERAL WELLS, Jan. 29
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Alberson, 76, will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday in Baum-Carlock Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Alberson, a resident of Mineral Wells since 1917, died Friday after a long illness.
Her husband, J. F. Alberson, died in 1945.
Survivors are a son, Lawrence Alberson of Bennett, near here; two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Gallaway of Fort Worth and Mrs. J. F. Allen of Graham, and two brothers, Bob Montgomery of Florence, Col. and Jim Montgomery of Claunch, N.M.
