William Henry H. Fitzgerald

William entered the Civil War as a Corporal but was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. He settled in Union co after the War. He married Ellen Houston; the first hospital in Union Co was named the Ellen Fitzgerald Hospital in her memory - she had left a large sum of money for the building of a hospital.
