John Woodson

John was a Quaker and a wheelwright by occupation.
John and Mary conveyed on 1 Oct 1691, 50 acres which Mary had inherited, for the creation of a town at Bermuda Hundred.
His will dated 10 Dec 1699 and proved 1 May 1700 named wife and children. Mary's will was dated 24 Sep 1709, proved 1 Aug 1710 and also names the children and some of the grandchildren.
In 1698, John Woodson Sr. of Henrico Co, for 2000# of tobo, transferred land to John Morton. In 1700, John Morton transferred 200 acres of land in Chickahominy Swamp to William Randolph, being 1/2 of tract bought of John Woodson.
Marriage of daughter Jane to Joseph Woodson, her cousin, in 1701, names John Woodson Jr, dec., Henrico Co. A note dated 1699/1700, 12, 9 also mentions John Woodson, dec.
