Some of the Boulton Family moved to Smith Co TN. There is evidence that Ichabod moved there as well. Two deeds dated 14 Feb 1811 in Smith Co from John L. Martin to Charles Boulton [Jr] were witnessed by Ichabod Thomas.

William Astin consented; relationship not given. Surety: Samuel Calland. Bond dated 6 May 1817; married on the 8th by Rev. James Beck

In 1820 Ichabod Thomas was on the Pittsylvania Census. If he did go to Tennessee, he returned. He was age 26-45, believed to be about 37. There was a male uner 10 and a female age 16-26.

1830, Pittsyslvania Co VA. Ichabod, age 40-50. One other male in the household, age 20-30. No females.
