David's will, dated 27 April 1740, filed 28 July 1740; found in Prince William County, Virginia; Will Book C., p. 250. Named wife Amy, possible unborn child, brothers Thomas, George, Greenham, Abraham, Joshua and Elijah. Executors: Amy and brother Thomas. A"daughter of David, dec'd" was named in his father's will but her name is unknown - possibly there was a child on the way when David died and she did not survive childhood.
