George Washington AVery, 65, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. J. Kinne, 515 24nd Street, Rock Island, early thi morning following an illness of three years during which he sufferend a series of paralytic strokes. He was a resident of Moline until a week ago when his illness necessitated his removal to the home of his daughter, so that she might attend him.
Mr. Avery was born in Macomb Township, McDonough County, Illinois, on Mar 20 1860. He married Miss Mary Steele [NOTE: She was MRS. Steele) in Macomb 24 years ago...
