The receipt of George Parkhurst, 25 Jun 1669, Watertown, advises his cousin Bashelder to pay to his brother Benjamin, 5 pounds of the 20 due to him. No baptism is noted for a Benjamin, son of George & Phebe Leete, but there must have been one. Was perhaps Benjamin the youngest? The receipt is endorsed, "My unkell Gorg. Parkes his letter: sent by Benjeimen Parkes" So was Benjamin a nephew of George and not his brother?

Ruth Leete Dalton survived her husband by more than three years, writing her will 8 December 1665. Most of her estate went to her four nieces, one of whom was Phebe (Parkhurst) Arnold.

She is buried Pine Grove Cemetery, Hampton, Rockingham Co, NY

Vital Records of Hampton, New Hampshire to 1900
Hampton, New Hampshire, first called Winnacunnet, was settled in 1638 by the Reverend Stephen Bachiler (ca. 1561–1656) and a small group of followers from Newbury, Massachusetts. While settlement had commenced in the summer of that year, the church was dedicated by Mr. Bachiler on 14 October 1638, the date usually considered as the beginning of the town. But the grant from the government of the Province of the Massachusetts Bay (which exercised control over the area at the time), was given on 6 June 1639, when Hampton was "allowed to be a town and hath power to choose a constable and other officers." Thus the town of Hampton officially dates from 1639.
