I, Lemuel Underhill of the county of Wayne and State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and first I direct that all my just debts be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first moneys that shall come into the hands of my executor from any portion of my estate. Secondly I leave all my real and personal property in possession of my beloved wife (after discharging my just debts as above referred) for the purpose of raising and educating my children while she remains my widow but if she shall marry I bequeath her all my personal property and one fifth of my real estate which real estate is to be sold after said marriage for current money on such terms as my executor shall deem most profitable to my widow and children. She to have her portion collected as as pratical the remainder to be divided among my children then living, the interest of which money to be applied to the education of my children, until each one become of age at which time each one is to have his or her respective apportionment, or sooner if my executor shall deem advisable. And I do hereby make and ordain Alfred Underhill executor of my will in witness whereof I Lemuel Underhill the testator have to this my will writton on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this the 23rd day of the 7th month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty.
