Emily M. Adamson died 24 Nov 1911 at Muncie, Centre Twp, Delaware Co, IN. She fractured her left femur in an accidental fall and had a cerebral embolism. She was born 28 Aug 1822 in Wayne Co, IN and was 89 years old at her death. She was a widow - her husband was Jonathan Adamson. Father was Reuben Macey, mother was Lucindia Petty - both born in North Carolina. Nettie Fadeley of Muncie was the informant. Buried Bush Grove on November 26th.

Last Will and Testament of Emily M. Adamson
Be in remembered that on the 27th day of November the same being the 73 Judicial Day of the September Term, 1911, of the Delaware Circuit Court of Delaware County in the State of Indiana, by an order of Court made and entered in probate order book No. 64 at page 59, the following Will was admitted to probate and together with the written testimony thereof was ordered entered of record in the Record of Wills of said County, to wit:
I, Emily M. Adamson, at this time a resident of the City of Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
Item I. I hereby direct that all my just debts, including the expense of my last sickness, shall be paid in full.
Item II. Whereas, the Jackson Street Christian Church of Muncie, Indiana, has heretofore from time to time advanced certain sums of money to me for the payment of a nurse to care for me, and other sums to pay my taxes, which said sums of money I desire shall be repaid to said Jackson Street Church out of my estate.
I hereby direct the executor of this will, hereinafter named, to ascertain the amount of money, with interest, so advanced by said church for my benefit, at the time of my death, and to repay said sum to the said Jackson Street Christian Church out of my estate. The remainder of my estate shall be distributed as described in the following items.
Item III. I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Nancy Emily Smell, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item IV. I give, devise and bequeath to Pleasant Adamson, a nephew of my beloved husband, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item V. I give, devise and bequeath to Lucinda McCullough the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item VI. I give, devise and bequeath to Mrs. Nettie Fadely the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item VII. I give, devise and bequeath Claude Macy Fadely the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item VIII. I give, devise and bequeath to Kenneth Fadely the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
Item IX. I hereby give and devise to Mrs. Nettie Fadely and Mrs. Lucinda McCullough all of my household goods and furniture equally, share and share alike.
Item X. All the balance and residue of my estate of whatever kind and discription, I give, devise, and bequeath to the Jackson Street Christian Church of Muncie, Indiana.
Item XI. I hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint my beloved brother in Christ, Thomas A. Reynolds, executor of this my last will and testament.
Item XII. In case I shall die seized of any real estate, I hereby direct and empower my said executor, to sell such real estate with or without notice as he may deem best and convert it into money, and use the money in the payment of the foregoing bequests.
Witness my hand and seal this 23rd day of June, 1911, at the City of Muncie, Indiana.

The foregoing instrument was signed, sealed and acknowledged by the said Emily M. Adamson, as and for her last will and testament in our presence who, at her request and in her presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness hereto this 23rd day of June, 1911.

Before me James H. Leffler, Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County of Delaware, in the State of Indiana, personally came Edmund F. Alldredge subscribing witness to the foregoing instrument of writing, who being by me first duly sworn, upon oath deposes and say the Emily M. Adamson, the testatrix named in the instrument of writing, purporting to be her last Will and Testament, died sign, seal, publish and declare the same to be her last Will and Testament, on the day of the date thereof; that the said Testator was at the same time of the full age of twenty-one years, and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and that she was not under coercion, compulsion or restraint, and that she was competent to devise her property. And that the said testatrix so signed, sealed, published and declared the same to be her last Will and Testament, in manner and form as aforesaid, in the presence of affiant and of Horace G. Murphy, the other subscribing witness thereto; and that they each attested the same and subscribed their names as witnesses thereto, in the presence and at the request of said testatrix, and in the presence of each other.
