n 1782, John Murray as executor of James Murray, sold to Achilles & Charles Moorman, 3030 acres, both sides of Seneca Creek [Campbell Co VA] which had been granted to James Murray, late of Prince Edward Co. Except for 200 acres which was conveyed to Andrew Moorman.

In 1791 Andrew devised his land, beginning both sides of the creek and extending to Venable's line till it intersected with Jesse Moorman's line, to wife Judith. To his son Achilles, he devised a tract of land on Rough Creek. He provided for the sale of land called Carver's and an entry called Poe's.
