Moses married Abigail Brinsmaid, daughter of Daniell, dec'd. of Hartford, 23 Feb 1709/10. Moses died 18 Jan 1766, in the 82nd year of his age. Abigail, wife of Moses Comstock departed this life Nov. 16, 1766, in the 75th year of her age.

He is buried Town House Hill Cemetery, Norwalk, Fairfield Co, CT - Abigail buried there, too.

Will names Abigail, dearly beloved wife, use and imporvement of all my lands with the building on Silver Mine Hil, on both sides the Hghway and the Meadow by the River, etc. Use of my Negro man Cofer, Molatto Boy John, and all my husbandry tools as long as she reamins a widow. My Negro woman Bett to seerve her during her natural life. and one third of the rest of my moveable estate. When she is deceased or marries - Cofor to have liberty to choose which of my children he will live with; my Negro woman the same liberty.
To loving daughters Sarah & Phebe, all my Meadow lying in the great Meadow on the West Side Norwalk River wich I bought of the Comstock and the right and liberty to dwell in my dwelling house during their single life
To loving son Abijah Comstock one half of my Barren Marsh Lodging Place with the southr part adjoyning to his own lodging place, also my land on Silver Mine Hill, both sides the Highway and the Meadow, after the expiration of my wife, subject to the incumbrance in favor of my two daughters if either of them their remain.
Ato loving son Moses Comstock, northern half part of my Barren Marsh Lodging Place adjoyning his won. Also my Meadow called the Out Meadow at the expiration of my wife.
To my five daughters, Abigail, Hannah, Martha, Sarah, and Phebee and my two grandaughters Ruth Hanford and Isabel Hanford, daughter of my late daughter Dinah Hanford all the rest of my moveable estate including what is left fter my wife's marriage or deceased (man Cofar and Woman Bett excepted) To be made equal with what each has already received. The two granddaughters together with what their mother would have received.
To my grandsons, Moses Hanford, son of Samuel Hanford and Moses Comstock Ells, all by lands on the upper Clapboard Hill in equal proportion.
To my two sons Abijah and Moses all my rights in the common and undivided land in Norwalk.
Executors: Son-in-law Samuel Hanford, and son Abijah.

17 June 1766. Inventory taken on 4 June 1776, presented by Saml. Hanford and Abijah Comstock, Executors of the Will of Moses Comstock late of Norwalk and make Oath that it is a true and perfect Inventory of his estate. Quite lengthy and Included a number of books, considerable livestock, property mentioned in the will, Cofar and John. Appraisors: Theophilus Fitch, David Cosmtock, Joseph Platt.
18 Jun 1766 Abigail Comstock refused to take Administration on the part of the estate of my dec'd husband Moses Comstock whereof he died intestate.
16 July 1766 Moses Comstock received Administration of the Intetate part of the estate of Moses Comstock, deceased. Secuirty, Matthias St. John. Both of Norwalk. Wit: Sarah Fitch, Sarah Ward.
30 Aug 1766 Inventory of the Intestate Estate of Moses Comstock - appeared to be several small pieces of property not specified in the will. Appraised by Asa Spalding and Saml. Groman. Present in court, 2 Sep 1766.
An additional inventory of livestock was taken 12 Sep 1766 by Joseph Platt and David Comstock but not entered until 17 Apr 1770.

There was a Court Order for the division of the intestate portion of the estate among the widow and heirs. One third part for the widow during the term of her natual live. The remaiing two thirds - Abijah Comstock, two shares (as eldest son). Moses Comstock, one share. To Abigail Ells, wife of John Ells. To Hannah Hanford, wife of Phineas Hanford, one share. To the heirs of Dinah Hanford, dec'd, late wife of Saml. Hanford, one share. To Martha, wife of Ambrose Olmsted, one share. To Sarah Comstock, one Share. To Phebe Comstock, one share. Appoints, Asa Spalding, Saml. Grummon & Uriah Rogers, Jr. Spalding and Gruman made the division also taking into account the value of what the daughters had already been advanced.
