I believe the marriage to Leannah (Lakes) Isaacs was a 2nd marriage for Shelton Harrison as well. In the 1870 census there appears to be a "blended" family. The children Samuel, Godfrey, & Elizabeth that were with Leannah Isaacs in 1860 [Hh 393, Jackson Co] are in the household, ages 16, 13, and 11. They would be Isaacs, not Harrisons. Then there is Sarah, age 13 (same age as Godfrey), John age 12, Hiram age 10 [the three children with Shelton & Angeline in 1860] and Lafayette age 8 - probably all the children of Angeline. Then a gap in ages of the children before: Mary age 2 and Nelly 8/12. It appears to me that there are 3 Isaacs stepchildren; then the children of Shelton and Angeline - probably 4 to include Lafayette, and then 6 children born to Shelton and Leannah.
