Obit of son Arch W. was published in the Dade Co Journal & Tribune, 23 Apr 1936:
Arch W. Poindexter, was found dead at his home in Springfield last Sunday morning. His death was due to a heart attack. He was 77 years old. Survivors are one son, Jeff of Bisbee, Arizona [an obit published 30 Apr in the same paper also lists a son Frederick who died in infancy], two sisters, Mrs. John Guffy of Grove, OK, and Mrs. Cyrene Wills of Everton and three brothers, John of Greenfield, and Eli and Sol of Webb City. Funeral services will be conducted a 2:00 Thursday afternoon at the Everton Baptist Church, with Rev. G. L. Bowling officiating. Interment will be made in the Sinking Creek Cemetery, under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home.
