John Hardin
(1762 - 1853)
This son probably rode with his father in the Sandusky expedition under Col William Crawford. Claimed his Revolutionary pension 7 Jan 1833 at age 70. He had enlisted from Fayette Co PA in 1781.
John was probably the "Big John" Hardin in a 1795 tax list of Washington Co KY. John's family returned to Fayette Co PA [probably at the time his father died] where he died in 1853 at age 97, leaving two sons Peter and Joseph. He may have had other children.
