He had to register for the World War II Draft [the "old man's draft] Nelson Brown Harrison, lived Chester, Arkansas. He was 57, born 6 Dec 1884 in Schuyler Co, Ill. The person who would always know his address was Mrs. Myrtle Harrison of Chester. His employer was the Frisco Rail Road Co, St. Louis, Mo., but he was employed in Chester. He was 5'9" tall and weighed about 165 lbs. Gray eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion.

Nelson B. Harrison of 1312 North 5th St, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co, died 1 Jan 1967 of uremia and chronic renal disease. He was born 6 Dec 1884 in Illinois to Elisha Harrison and Edith Erwin. He was widowed. He was a retired section employee for the railroad. Mrs. Wray Hayes of the same address was the informant. Buried Chester Cemetery on Jan 4th.
Nelson and Myrtle are buried in the Chester Cemetery, Chester, AR.

Nelson Brown Harrison, 82 years old, at 1312 North 5th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas died Sunday, January 1, 1967 at his home. He lived at Chester, Arkansas for 70 years before moving to Fort Smith three years ago. He was born December 6, 1884 and was a retired section employee for the Frisco Railroad.
Survivors were four sons, Leroy of Booneville, Randall of Mountainburg, Virl of San Diego, California and James with the United States Army; four daughters, Anna of Fort Smith, Vesta and Virginia both of Mountainburg and Vera of Little Rock; one brother Ed of Oregon [Ed died in Oregon - in December of 1967]; one sister, Mrs. Cradduck of Mountainburg [Daughter Vesta was married to James Nathan Cradduck so I'm not sure about this sister]; 36 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Comunity church at Chester with M. C. Parrish the officiating minister. Burial was in Chester cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeal Home.
Grandsons served as casket bearers.
