Rockingham Co NC Deed Book E, p.60: 24 Feb 1797. Elizabeth Strong made a deed of gift of beds and livestock to her son John. Fredk. Irion and Richard Vernon were the witnesses. Frederick's half brother was married to Charlotte Holderness whose father James was closely associated with Elizabeth for years before he moved to Georgia.
