Everett Barnett of Springfield, MO was the informant. He was buried at Rocky Comfort on July 16th.

OBITUARY
George Reed Barnett, son of Bevy and Elizabeth Barnett, was born Feb. 24, 1883 near Rocky Comfort, Mo. He departed this life July 17, 1962, and the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 20 days.
He was married to Julia Ann Payne, July 20, 1964. To this union was born one son, Everett.
He is survived by his wife Julia; his son, Everett of Springfield, Mo.; one grandson, Levere of St. James, Mo.; two great grandsons, James & Paul Barnett; two brother, Den Barnett of Springfield, and Grover Barnett of Rocky Comfort; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Berziel of Augusta, Kan., and Mrs. Pina (Adkinson) Sappington, of Hot Springs, Ark., and a host of other relatives and friends...
