George Moulton Carpenter

Graduated from Brown Univ in 1864. Admitted to the Rhode Island bar in 1867. 1 Jan 1885 became a Judge for the US District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
One of the three men appointed to compile in print the Early Town Records of Providence.
He died while on a vacation in Europe 31 Jul 1896 from apoplexy.
