Nathaniel was Deputy for Fairfield at various times from 1692 to 1700.
He married (1) sometime after Jun 1659, Sarah Ward, daughter of Andrew. He married (2) Hannah, widow of Samuel Wakeman and daughter of Deputy Governor Stephen Goodyear.
Nathaniel died at Fairfield on 26 Feb 1711/12. His will was executed 22 Nov 1711 and names his wife Ann [Hannah], sons John & Daniel, four children of deceased son Nathaniel; daughters, Abigail wife of John Wheeler, Esther wife of John Sloss, Ann wife of Gideon Allen, Rebecca wife of Capt Samuel Sherwood, and Mary wife of Dr. James Laborie. All the children are said to be children of the first wife.
