Kate Holderness

Kate was trampled by horses as a toddler. Her mother carried her around on a pillow for sometime afterward. She eventually grew better although she remained mentally handicapped. Spent some time in a nursing home before her death.

Luke Kee, the Chinaman incarcerated in the Claude jail charged with a heinious crime committed in this town some time ago, is to come up before Judge Wallace for trial at the term of court held at Claude next week, his case being called for Monday. The following witnesses have been subpoenaed from here: Mrs. Robert Humphrey, Mrs. M. P. Finnicum, Katie Holderness, Dr. E. W. Tinsley, Dr. R. M. Johnson, Jack Harwell, and Sheriff T. J. Inmon.
