George Stuart Blakeney of Bonham, Texas, was 19, born 28 Apr 1899. He was a student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. B. G. Blakeney was his nearest relative. Description: tall, slender, gray eyes, Lt. brown hair. Note on back has "Inducted"

George's Texas death certificate show his address in Dallas as 1002 Galloway. He was a bookkeeper at a wholesale drygoods business. It does give his parents as B. G. Blakeney and Olive Haden. The informant's signature was Mrs. Virginia Blakeney. He was listed as married, so presumably that was his wife. His death was self-inflicted; he took strychnine. He was found dead at home - the inquest was held on the same day as his death - 25 Jun 1956. George was buried Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.

George's brother Thurman also committed suicide.

George is buried Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas. His wife is there as Virginia F. Blakeney, born 1896, died 1976.
