Mrs. Hays was a homemaker and a former school cafeteria employee for City Heights and Rena School, a member of Rena Christian Church. Preceded in death by her husband Paul Hays Sr., a brother James Willis and three sisters Myrtle Obercampers, Lorene Blevins, and Mabel Moore, Parents Jess and Cora Ford Willis.
She is survived by two daughters; Carolyn Staggs and Jo Etta Summerhill both of Van Buren, and one son Paul Hays of Van Buren. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rick Mays, Caleb Mays, Joshue Mays, Bryan Summerhill, Paul Summerhill and Stephen Staggs.
