Edward Chamberlin, printer and hobbyist.
Worthington - Edward Chamberlin passed away Aug. 14, 2010, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved one.
Born in St. Albans, NY on April 17, 1928, to Harry and Marguerite (Kuhn) Chamberlin, he was the third son in a family of four boys.
He served his country in World War II in the US Army Air Force and proudly worked as a control tower operator while stationed in the Pacific's Mariana Islanda.
He was a printer by trade, setting type by hand and running a printing press for a small shop in Jamaica, NY, where he served as foreman until he moved to Worthington in 1968. He retired from Texon Corp in 1988....
In his retirement he constructed scale replica houses and furniture lovingly crafted in minute detail.
He leaves a family in sorrow, his devoted wife, Florence (Weber), with whom he would have celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary on Sept 9, a son, William, and daughter-in-law Alicia of Worthington; a daughter, Holly, and granddaughter Grace, of West Chesterfield; a brother, Martens and sister-in-law Frieda of Ocala, FL; and a sister-in-law, Agnes, of Archer, FL
His beloved son Gary predeceased him in 1993.
