Jaunita Lea Carney, 78, of Van Buren died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in a local nursing home. She was a retired caregiver for Area Agency on Aging and a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Gene" Carney Sr; and her twin, Onieta Jaurqui.
She is survived by three daughters, one son, seven grandchildrean, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas.
