5th day of 9th month 1795 Ephraim Overman of Pasquotank, NC. Pay just debts. Loving wife to have use of estate both indoor and outdoor except plantation I bought Isaac Overman during her widowhood or decease. At her death or remarriage to be sold and the money to be on interest for my children except one of best beds & furniture to my daughter Elizabeth Overman. Money to be equally divided among my several children. To son Abner and son Ephraim, the plantation & land whereon I now live to be divided (corner of my land bought from John Frew . To my son Jorge Fox Overman, the plantation I bought of Isaac Overman and from Zackiriah Jennings. To sons William & Josiah land Iand bought of Jeremiah Menden to be equally divided. Appoints Bailey Jackson & Ruth Overman, my wife as executor and executrix. Signed: Ephraim Overman.
