Nancy Lee (King) Hensley of Sand Springs passed away on July 27, 2014.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1935 at St. John’s Hospital to David Lester King and and Hazel Lavona (Cluck) King.
Nancy graduated from Webster in 1953 and TJC RN class of 1971-73. She served as a cub scout den mother in Berryhill, a Brownie leader, a youth group leader/chaperone for First Christian Church, and a band parent for the Clyde Boyd Junior High and Charles Page High Schools.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; sister Patricia Ann (King) Styles; brother David Lester King and grandson Joseph Marion Harris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Christian Church of Sand Springs, 501 N. Main, on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, starting at 2 p.m.

Nancy is survived by her three grown children, Robert Lee Hensley, Joel Bruce Hensley and Dee Anna (Hensley) Rice, all of Tulsa, her brother John Harvey King of Catoosa; grandchildren Erin Daw (Hensley) McGuire, Robert Lee Hensley III, and Brian Joseph Hines.
