Weatherford - Marshall L. Canon, 76, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at home.
Graveside Service: 2 pm Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Marshall was born Dec. 16, 1932, in Fannin County to Lillian and Temply Canon. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Wasp. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, and grandson, Jon.
Survivors: Daughter, Vicki Shaw and husband, Ricky; son, Mark Canon and wife, Van; stepdaughter, Onis Dalton; stepson, James Stewart; sister, Laverna Hopkins; and numberous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
