Cause of Death: Lockjaw only lived 8 years. Quoted from Great Aun t R uby Wynn Brower's hand written book, written in 1987: "Our next mov e, w as to the "Stout" farm back north, and it was just a mile west of t he R ising Star School house, where we would go a few years, with out ch ang ing. Our brother,George was in his first year while playing, barefoo t, h e stepped on a nail. It was rusty. He was very ill and the doctor s aid i t was lockjaw. In just a few days, he was gone. The services w er e in the home. Rev. Wharton conducted the service. There was another l i ttle grave. Another little boy missing from the family. "
