Lemach Adkins

Lemach and Christina lived on the Miller's Fork of the Beech Fork all of their lives. Lemach was a very successful farmer and businessman. Politically and financially he was one of the most prominent citizens of Wayne County. He served as Deputy Sheriff 8 years and was elected as the first sheriff after the Civil War.
