Sulphur---Mrs. Lula Johnson, 77, died at 2:45 a.m. today in the West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Henning Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. D. W. Poole, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the mausoleum in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Chester, S. C. and had resided in Sulphur for about 55 years. The family residence was at 317 W. Thomas St. She was a member and took an active part in the work of Henning Memorial Methodist Church until her illness. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Ray May, of El Campo, Tex/., and Mrs. Marie Phipher of Leona, Tex., and one brother, T. R. McGill, of Normangee, Tex.
