Lexingtonite's Mother Dies Monday in Cozad. Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) McCance, 82, of Cozad mother of Don McCance of Lexington, died Monday April 2 , in a Cozad nursing home. Services were held Friday afternoon at Berryman Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Ireland of Parkview United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Cozad. She was born Oct. 19, 1897 at Cozad. She and her late husband were in the floral business at Cozad for many years. Survivors include five sons, Ed of Cozad, Lawrence of Elwood, Harold of Oregon City, Ore., Charles of Chadron, and Donald of Lexington: three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Verl) Nickelson, Gothenburg; Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Potter, Cozad; and Mrs. John (Eva) Richards of Rogue River, Ore.; 30 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
