Oakley Leonard Stockton was born 21 August 1919. Paul Martell Stockton was born 19 October 1921. Oak Stockton was drafted into the army in October of 1941 and then attained the rank of Lt. Col. in the Air Force, and served for twenty-four years. He married Beverly Coe and they had four children, Chip, Scott, Lorrie, and Randy.

The Denver Post, Denver, Colorado, March 22, 1996: Oakley L. "Oak" Stockton of Colorado Springs, a retired lieutenant colonel, died Saturday. He was 76. The family will welcome friends from 3-8 p.m. today at Swan Law Mortuary, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs. There was cremation. Stockton was born Aug. 21, 1919. He served in the Air Force during World War II and during the Korean War. He was awarded a Bronze Star, Air Force and Army commendation medals, and the Singhman Rhee Presidential Unit Citation. He served 24 years in the Air Force and six years with the Defense Communication Agency, Western Hemisphere, as a communications specialist.
He was an FCC-licensed amateur radio operator for 60 years. He was also a member and past president of the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America Inc. He is survived by his companion, Ora Marie Rose; four children, Chip, California, Scott, Castle Rock, Lorrie, Los Angeles, and Rand K., Colorado Springs; a brother, Paul M. Stockton, Winterhaven, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
