Predeceased by her son David Lucas. Survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Lyle; daughters Linda and d'Alene (Ronald); Daughter-in-law Debbie; Grandchildren Debbie (Mark), Diane, Stephen, Cynthia (Tom); Great Grandchildren Krystal, Alexis, Justin, Tony, Chrystina, and Jacqueline. Thelma was a member of Capital Christian Center with Pastor Cole. Thelma's mother Jennie and her father Captain Frank Kirkpatrick served in the Salvation Army. She is lovingly remembered by the beautiful home and gardens she created around us. There will be a graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery 43rd and Folsom Sacramento, California on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 11:00 am. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Don McDougald of the Salvation Army, Thelma's nephew, will be saying a few words at the Service.
