Morrison, pastor of Brooklyn M. E. church has received word of the death of his brother-in-law, William G. McMillan, who passed away yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Bower, at Kansas City, where he and his wife resided. Deceased was a native of Morgan county and was born in 1835. He married Mrs. Elizabeth Humphrey in 1867, who survives him, with the following children: Frederick and Harry McMillan of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Bessie Beach of Benson*, Neb. He was a man held in high esteem.

Jacksonville, Nov. 27---Word has been received in the city of the death of William G. McMillan, at his home in Kansas City, apoplexy, being the cause of death. He was the son of William H. McMillan and was born in the this county in 1835. In 1867 he married Mrs. Elizabeth Humphrey, who, together with the following children survive: Mrs. B. Frank Bower, of Kansas City, Harry of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Bessie Beach of Nenson*, Neb., and Frederick of Omaha. At the time of his death he and his wife were residing with his eldest daughter, Mrs. Bower, in Kansas City. He is a brother-in-law of the Rev. C. R. Morrison, who is pastor of the Brooklyn M. E. church, this city.

*Should be Benson, Douglas Co., Nebraska. On the 1910 U. S. Census, Bessie is married to Bolivar K. Beach and residing in Benson.
