Martha and Ed moved to Indiana in 1963 and now live near Danville. Ed is retired but works as a lobbyist for the American Association of Retired People. Martha does volunteer work at a local hospital. They are members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

She was 87. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Don Campbell officiating. Private interment is planned. Calling at the funeral home is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.
