Madison Wisconsin State Journal, Madison, Wisconsin, Sunday, June 29, 1958, Page 26, Col. 3: Lancaster---Mrs. Clay Knapp, 80, longtime Lancaster area resident, died Friday in Maquoketa, Ia., where she and her husband had been visiting their daughter, Mrs. Ervin Hoppe. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Harris and Wepking funeral home. Mrs. Knapp, the former Eva Pauley, was born at Atlantic, Ia. Also surviving is a son, Leonard, Cheyenne, Wyo. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
