Lexington Herald, Lexington, Kentucky, Saturday, March 5, 1960, Page 8, Col. 3: Coliver C. Johnson, 48, of the Leestown Road, died at 6:10 p.m. yesterday at the U. S. Public Health Hospital where he was employed. Mr. Johnson was a psychiatric aid at the hospital for 12 years. A native of Buckhorn, he was a son of Mrs. Loretta Abster, Buckhorn, and the late Luther Johnson. He served in world War Ii. He was a member of the South Elkhorn Baptist Church and the Cription Lodge, F & AM. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virgie Amis Johnson, a daughter, Regina Gail Johnson, a son Gary Dale Johnson; a brother, Aster Johnson, Hazard; and two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Simpson, Harlan, and Mrs. Virginia Farnsburg, Harlan. The body was taken to Kerr Brothers Funeral Home.
