Medhaug, 70, of 1236 Pleasant Valley Drive, died Friday, Feb. 23, at her home following a lengthy illness; services 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Family Funeral Care, 232-3235, with burial in Garden of Memories; visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born April 11, 1930, in Fayette, daughter of Clarence and Genevieve Lenius Morehouse. She married Bert D. Medhaug Sr., on May 7, 1949, in Waterloo. Mrs. Medhaug and her husband had owned and operated The Jet tavern until retiring. Survived by her husband, a son, Bert Duane Jr. of Waterloo; a daughter Joyce Meyer of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Linhart of California. Preceded in death by two brothers, William and Roy Morehouse. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott and Wood Family Funeral Care, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
