Coral Kirpatrick* was born near Ulysses July 1885 and passed away at Burns Hospital in Wyoming on Saturday, May 9, 1936 at 10 p.m., aged fifty years and ten months. He moved to Texas with his parents when he was ten years of age. It was there that his father departed this life in 1895 [1897]. The family continued to reside in Texas until after the Galveston storm in 1900. During this storm their home was destroyed and one sister lost her life. Soon after he came back to Nebraska with his mother, one brother and two sisters.

He was united in marriage to Lulu Coleman of Ulysses in 1905. They lived in this community until 1919 in which year they moved to Hillsdale, Wyoming, where he spent the remainder of his life.

He left to mourn his departure his wife, three sons, Lee Wesley, attorney at law in Spencer, Indiana, Elton Dean of Hillsdale and Thomas Coral of Cheyenne, Wyoming, his mother, Mrs. S. M. Kirkpatrick of Hillsdale, who is 83 years of age; three sisters, Mrs. George Crimm of Seward, Mrs. Gretta Vandament of Bloomington, Indiana, Mrs. Byron Beaver of Cheyenne, Wyoming and many other friends and relatives.

Tho he lived but the average span of years, he saw much of life and will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

Funeral services was conducted at the Methodist Episcopal Church by Rev. Lyle L. Burdick May 13 at 2:00. Music was furnished by Mrs. J. T. Stanard, Mrs. H. H. Andrews, Earl Bolen and Carl Diers. B. J. Morey was in charge of funeral arrangements.
