Kirkpatrick, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lucas-Halden Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Hill will officiate. Burial will be at the Old Hall Cemetery. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born July 7, 1897 in Bethel. He died Tuesday at the Gaston Hospital in Dallas after a lengthy illness. He had lived in Lewisville since 1924 and was a farmer. He was the son of the late Dr. David Forrest Kirkpatrick and the late Mattie Woodrum. He was a lifelong resident of Texas and a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. He married Leah Cauthorn in San Antonio in 1924. She preceded him in death in May, 1972. Survivors are two nephews, Harry D. Kirkpatrick of Flower Mound, and Joel B. Kirkpatrick of Dallas; and one niece, Martha Kirkpatrick Smith of Arlington, Va. Lucas-Halden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
