F. Kirkpatrick, wife of Dr. Kirkpatrick, prominent Lewisville physician and a sister of Mrs. C. S. Wilkins of Denton, died here this morning at 2 o'clock, following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this (Monday) afternoon in charge of Revs. N. B. Baker and J. J. Moore at the Presbyterian church with burial following in the Hall cemetery near here. Up to the time she was stricken with illness last winter, Mrs. Kirkpatrick was very prominent in church and Red Cross work here, having served as chairman of the Lewisville chapter until her health compelled her to resign. She took the lead in organizing the local chapter, counted one of the strong chapters of the county. She was taken to Dallas to a sanitarium for an operation and treatment, but has been growing gradually weaker since and has been in a critical condition with her death momentarily expected for a week or more.
