White, 78 years old, a retired representative of the A. B. C. Creamery Company of Kansas City, died at 7 o'clock this morning in McCune-Brooks hospital where he was admitted Sunday for medical treatment. His home was at 531 West Sycamore avenue. He was born at Buffalo, Kan., and had lived here 37 years. At one time he was manager of a Carthage creamery. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Claudia Winthrop White; five sons, Kirk White and John L. White of Tulsa, Curtis White of Sand Springs, Okla., A . A. (Bus) White of Carthage and Bill White of Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Carter of Carthage, and Mrs. Charles Dale of Yale, Kan.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Knell service home. The Rev. James Hall, pastor of the Church of Christ in Joplin will be in charge. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
