George Riley Kirkpatrick, who was usually known as Riley, was born about 1864. He married Mattie Christin. Riley, in partnership with his cousin Hiram Tinsley Kirkpatrick operated a grocery business near Imboden, Randolph County, Arkansas. Riley collapsed and died suddenly in Dermott, Arkansas in 1932 on his way home from church. He is buried in Little Rock, Arkansas.
