Posted at findagrave.com: Vicki McCance, age 61, of Cozad, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Golden Living Care Center in Cozad. Vicki was born November 23, 1948 at Hastings to Dick and LaVaugn (McPherson) Pearson. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1966.
On February 23, 1973, she married Leonard S. McCance at Hastings. While in Hastings, Vicki was employed with the Hastings Regional Center. The couple later moved to Trumbull, NE for a few years before moving to Cozad. Vicki was primarily employed as a caregiver. She worked at Southview Manor for a number of years. She went on to work with Home Health in Cozad, as well as South Central Developmental Services. Vicki was an avid reader. She enjoyed listening to music, watching T.V. and solving crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dick Pearson. Survivors include her husband, Leonard McCance of Cozad; daughter, Misty McCance and granddaughter, Briana McCance both of Arvada, CO; a sister, Lenore Pearson of Los Angeles, CA.
