Martha E. Mundon

She was born 28 October 1836*. She died 2 June 1900 at Mifflin, Iowa County, Wisconsin. She married William Carl Glenn, son of Jonathan and Hanna Glenn, 17 may 1856. W. C. Glenn was born 1 November 1829 in Dade, Missouri. He died 21 (some records say 19) August 1907.

Glenn served in the Union Army in the Civil War in Company A, 33rd Regiment of Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. he enlisted in August of 1862 and was described as standing 6 feet 3½ inches tall, with blue eyes (one report says hazel eyes), and light brown hair. he was a 32 year old farmer at the time of his enlistment. He served as a private and was detached as a teamster much of the time. He was in the same regiment and company as his brother-in-law William Fletcher Mundon.

Both he and his wife are buried in the Kirkpatrick Cemetery, Rewey, Wisconsin.

There was one child born of the marriage.
