Roberson, 644 Lowe avenue, Chicago Heights. He died Wednesday morning at St. James hospital. The Rev. Gerald Steffy, pastor of Temple Baptist church, will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Steger. Friends may call at the chapel from 2 to 10 p.m. Mr. Roberson was born November 27, 1898, at Waltonville, Ill., and resided in this area for 20 years. He was formerly employed by CertainTeed Products corporation and was employed by Pinkerton Security agency at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Ethel, three daughters, Mrs. Estelleta Phelps, Burbank, Ill.; Mrs. Vanetta Hammonds, Christopher, Ill.; Mrs. Patricia Gross of Steger; five sons, Jewell Roberson, Crete; Willis Roberson, Beecher; Charles Roberson, Chatham, Ill., James Kirkpatrick, South Chicago Heights, and Gene Kirkpatrick of Steger; 26 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Golden Elberth, and Miss Gladys Roberson, both of Calumet City, and a brother, Dow, of Sesser, Ill.
