Southern Illinoisan, Carbondale, Illinois, Monday, July 1, 2002: Sesser---Ethel Lea Kirkpatrick, 91, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord at 6:20 a.m. June 29, 2002 at Beverly Health Care in North Little Rock, Ark. She was born May 9, 1911, in Perry County, the daughter of William S. Elkins and Cora Ellen Veach. She was married to Roy Kirkpatrick who died in 1941. She married Everett Robinson who died in 1972. She married Harry Inglett who died in 1975. None survive. She was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Valier. She is survived be her children, James Delmar Kirkpatrick of Chicago Heights, Ronald Gene Kirkpatrick and wife Barbara of Harrison, Ark. and Patricia Kay Gross and husband Billy of Jacksonville, Ark.; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, with the Rev. James Kerley officiating. Burial will be at the Horse Prairie Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
