The Peoria Journal Star, Peoria, Illinois, Monday, February 3, 2003: Peoria---Ronald E. Gorsuch, 71, of Peoria died at 3 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, after being ill for the past six months. He was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Fulton County to Daniel and Lillie Gorsuch. Surviving are three sons, Jamie of Peoria, Timothy of Wisconsin and a son in Texas; and one grandchild. He served in the Air Force Reserve, achieving the rank of second lieutenant. He owned and operated Gorsuch Barber Shop for many years. He was a member of the Second Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peoria. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave., where visitation will be one hour before. Bishop Alan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Peoria Veterans Administration Clinic.
